MARCH WITH US ON TUESDAY, MARCH 1

JOIN MEALS ON WHEELS AMERICA ON CAPITOL HILL
TO KICK OFF THE 14TH ANNUAL MARCH FOR MEALS

Meals on Wheels America cordially invites Members of Congress, staff and supporters to join us on Tuesday, March 1 as we kick off the 14th Annual March for Meals on Capitol Hill. The day’s events will celebrate the vital public-private partnership that exists in virtually every community across the country to keep America’s seniors healthier at home – where they want to be – and out of more costly healthcare settings. We will recognize the successes of the Older Americans Act and honor our nation’s seniors through a photo exhibit and opportunity to sign greeting cards that will be hand-delivered to Meals on Wheels clients through a local program in your state or congressional district.

As we ceremoniously commence the 2016 March for Meals in Washington, DC, hundreds of local Meals on Wheels programs across the country will be reaching out to their communities to build the support to enable them to deliver nutritious meals, friendly visits and safety checks to our senior neighbors all year long.
